The return

Context: Rain has returned but with a new found sense of self. Vesper is very surprised and is in awe of how Rain escaped his grasp. As a last ditch effort, Vesper attacks Rain with everything he has. Rain takes advantage of Vesper’s assumption that Rain will use the clone and avoid. Rain instead takes the damage head on, almost as a stupid choice but one that confronts the possible death and pain. As Vesper is able to catch the clone that he assumes is Rain, the twist of the injured Rain is Rain himself catches him and defeats him.
