The greatest anime to ever pierce the heavens! Found this song via a cover of Sorairo Days by Studio Yuraki. I initially rated this anime as a 7 as it seemed goofy and fun, but thinking on it more, you start to find that this anime represents so much more.
PEAK fiction. Card games on motorcycles is so over-the-top, but there’s actually a lot of cool metaphors within this series. Synchro summoning is such a cool concept on top of the numerous hype scenes with Yusei learning how to Accel Synchro.
One of the few romcoms I ever burst out laughing for. Every character in this is so fun and bursting with personality. The comedy here is right up my alley and the developing romance with mind games makes this show amazing.
I don’t know how this show grips me so much. Maybe it’s cause I’m an introvert that enjoys J-rock, because the music is straight FIRE Here. Combine this with wholesome characters that actually develop turns this into a masterpiece I will ride or die on.
Truly the pinnacle of isekai. Has the fantasy elements down but also explores the underlying issues each character, especially Subaru, has when they are introduced. Season 2 is what gripped me on this show besides Season 1 being a banger. The emotional storytelling in the 2nd season made me care so much for Subaru, Emilia, and some side characters that I sort of ignored previously.
Does anything need to be said? One of the greatest pillars in anime. I think the show does mystery so well on top of mixing in layers of humanity and suffering within each season. Season 3 Part 2 is truly peak fiction and probably the most hype I ever experienced in a show.
This show represents so much of what it means to be special and how the talents we have aren’t always the answer to our life. This story is so charming for one that has so many goofy characters with comedic bits that go HARD.
It’s really hard to describe the feeling I got when I finished this show. I think it is a combination of seeing a time travel premise done so well with the compelling narrative of saving people you care about from a secret organization is crazy. There’s a certain vibe you can’t get outside of this show.
I know this is a Chinese animation, but I can’t stop gushing over this show. It is an emotional rollercoaster packed into a time travel mystery thriller. 1st season is like Violet Evergarden with the emotional hits, but 2nd season turns the show into a detective mystery with wild stuff occurring. All in all, I would say this show loves dropping insane cliff hangers.

The pinnacle of what it means to enjoy anime and games. I love how invested I got into this game over the course of the story and how it challenges the false truths that each character believes. Marie is best girl.
The game that truly made me a FromSoftware enjoyer. I think what made this game fun was how clean the gameplay had evolved from DS2 to here. Besides that, I look fondly of how this game represents the overall message of letting go of past glories and moving on to new things. Letting other stories light their own fires.
The one game I attribute to for my love for gaming. A journey of becoming the best trainer is one that sticks with me to this day. Feeling nostalgic of trying to find cool Pokemon to build up in challenging the Elite Four and exploring unknown areas felt amazing.
A bullet hell shooter that was the first usage of my username Ninjaruss. I would spend hours on this game in the library. I consider this my equivalent to Runescape or World of Warcraft; this game taught me the feeling of building up a character with the inevitability of death.
I actually was into Minecraft back when 0.9.0 was a thing. However, Roblox was the most accessible for me since I didn’t have my own computer back then. So many crazy good games back then. Not only that, I learned a bit of game development through trying to make a game myself. It never panned out, but the feeling of making the dream happen still sticks with me.
A brain tumor that I have been able to mostly remove, but still lingers in wait for the day of my return. Arcane is PEAK storytelling, so I’m afraid if they keep making bangers, I will come back in hopes of enjoying the climb of ranked (I won’t). Playing Singed is a lifestyle that can never be replicated…
